L'oeil How the eye functions


When there are no visual defects, images, of near or distant objects, are formed on the retina. The cristalline lens bulges according to distances in order to produce a clear image:

this is called adaptation.

This lens fucntions for a range starting from approximately ten centimetres until infinity. When the image is not formed on the retina, vision is blurred.
